Information
Announced on June 26th, 2023, with two pre-sales, the first one for those who have pre-ordered Will of the People from Muse's official shop. Those who did, received a code for the first presale, on Wednesday July 5th at 8AM BST. A second pre-sale occured for those signing up on a mailing list from Ticketmaster an hour later, at 9AM BST.
This gig marked the first time since 2016 that Muse played in Ireland, the last time also being at the 3Arena.
The Show
Butterflies & Hurricanes was performed for the first time since 2017, played in the post-Psycho rotation slot. Likewise, Apocalypse Please was played for the first time since 2016, played in the post-Thought Contagion slot, replacing Verona. This also marked the first time both those songs were played in the same setlist since 2008. Intro was also played as usual before Apocalypse Please, albiet with Dan playing the drum part instead of Dom. Aside from these alterations, the standard arena set was played.
Production-wise, the show went with the same setup as the North American arenas leg, which included Will returning to being revealed during the Kill or Be Killed (Felsmann + Tiley Reinterpretation) (even though it was the one with LED screen inside which the NA leg lacked), instead of during Won't Stand Down like the European leg. Confetti was released during Apocalypse Please (due to Verona's absence), and rain confetti was released during Resistance.
