This tour is a short tour of festivals around Europe, almost 3 years after the release of Will of the People. It mostly stops in Nordic countries that Muse hasn't visited since the Simulation Theory era, or the Drones era, in the case of Sweden.
Information
The Rockfest festival in Turku, Finland will be the first stop on this short tour, and will end with the NOS Alive festival in Lisbon, Portugal.
As mentioned above, this tour will have the first performance since 2019 for certain Nordic countries (2016 for Sweden). Some of the festivals for this tour are also more focused towards heavier music, like the Hellfest in France and Tons of Rock in Norway.
Some of the festivals on this tour are the band stepping up to replace other bands that were schelduled to play or had to drop out from playing. Hellfest had schelduled Foo Fighters at first[1], before they canceled their original 2025 plans, while Mad Cool and NOS Alive had Kings of Leon headlining at first, but were replaced by Muse because of an emergency surgery undergone by lead singer Caleb Followill.[2]
The tour is preceded 2 days before, by a one-off show in Helsinki, in a small venue.
A concert in Istanbul was announced but was quickly cancelled because of the political situation in Turkey.
Matt later releaved in an interview on Radio 1 on 19 June 2025, that the band originally were not planning on touring at all in 2025 and were instead going to focus soley on making their next album. However, after Foo Fighters pulled out of Hellfest and the band agreed to step in to replace them, the band decided to play more shows that year. The more heavy nature of the festivals also influenced the sound of their song "Unravelling" which was recorded and released as a single for the run of shows.
