Muse performed in SOBs for the CMJ Music Marathon.[2] They had done so the previous year as well, that time in the Mercury Lounge.
The band used hired equipment, which resulted in some technical difficulties.[2] Matthew Bellamy claimed the next week that the gig went "well" and was "great".[2] A fan was able to grab the setlist at the end, one of the last handwritten setlists used by the band before they switched over to printed setlists.[4]
