Merging

Should we merge this article with Microphones, or is it OK how it is now? --Susurr0 00:27, 8 June 2008 (BST)

Definitely. But do you mean vocals -> mics or mics -> vocals? 7 05:33, 8 June 2008 (BST)
Sorry, what?? --Susurr0 09:31, 8 June 2008 (BST)
He means should we move the content from mics to vocals or the other way around. Personally, I'm for moving Mics here. -frozenjakalope 18:11, 8 June 2008 (BST)
Haha thanks for clrearing that up :D. Anyhow, wouldn't it be better to move the content from Vocals (seeing as it's about mics) to Mics? Then we can just delete Vocals and be done with it. 7 02:19, 9 June 2008 (BST)
Oh OK, I see now. Well, Mics is not only about Matt's, it's also about the mics used for guitars and drums (and we should add information about Chris' and Morgan's mics as well), while Vocals is not only about mics but also about the processing of Matt's voice. So I don't know really. --Susurr0 08:51, 9 June 2008 (BST)
Which is what I was thinking. Vocals covers all the vocal processing from when it's sung to when it comes out the PA, mics included, Mics is a bit limited in what we can put there. -frozenjakalope 13:07, 9 June 2008 (BST)
Hmm... how about we take the things that have to do with mics/processing in Vocals and put it into Mics, then leave this page for the pure vocals, which we could expand to include Matt/Chris/Dom/Morgan's singing... 7 06:50, 10 June 2008 (BST)
We could do that, and move mics to Mics/Vocal Effects or something. -frozenjakalope 11:19, 10 June 2008 (BST)
Hurrah for diplomacy! :D 7 06:21, 11 June 2008 (BST)
Hurrah indeed :D. I've done the merger, but someone who knows something about vocals should probably come and do something with the vocal page. I'm completely clueless about it -frozenjakalope 17:54, 11 June 2008 (BST)

Does he use condenser or dynamic?

The KMS 105 is a condenser mic. -frozenjakalope 00:54, 23 November 2008 (GMT)
