The design of the building is meant to represent Aladdin's lantern.

Musical acts who have performed inside Strasbourg's Zénith de Strasbourg include Elton John, Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Ghost, Johnny Hallyday, Leonard Cohen, James Blunt, Beyonce and more. The arena also hosted the WWE Smackdown and the French Festival des Artefacts.
