Matt Mahurin is an American illustrator, photographer and fillm director from Santa Cruz, California. His illustrations appear in magazines and newspapers like Time, Newsweek, Mother Jones, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Forbes and The New York Times.

He has also directed various music videos for artists like U2, Metallica, Tom Waits, R.E.M. and many others.

Most recently, he was involved in making all the artwork for the new Muse album Drones, as noted on a picture he posted on his Instagram. He also contributed animations and made all artwork for the lyric video for the album's song Psycho.
