Information
The concert was announced 3 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2000. Tickets went on sale Saturday, Jan. 29, in the South Lobby Box Office. On-line, however, tickets were available Jan. 26 at www.mtv.com. All tickets were $30.
The wristband-line lottery system was used, and wristbands were obtained Thursday and Friday between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the South Lobby Box Office. The wristbands did not guarantee a ticket or a particular place in line. Wristband numbers were drawn at 10 a.m. Saturday with tickets going on sale immediately after. There was 10 ticket limit.
