Wheatland Toyota Amphitheatre
Toyota Amphitheatre is an amphitheatre in Yuba County, in-between the city of Wheatland and the town of Plumas Lake, 35 miles north of Sacramento, in California, United States. The 18,500-capacity venue broke ground in 1999 and opened in 2000, designed by Heller Manus Architects and built by DPR Construction. It's owned by Live Nation Entertainment. Its original name was the Sacramento Valley Amphitheatre and its other former names include "AutoWest Amphitheatre" and "Sleep Train Amphitheatre".
Original amphitheatre plans featured sharing the location with a NASCAR-style track, which would be called the "Yuba County Motorplex". It features 8,000 fixed seats which is further divided into three sections (100, 200 and Pit), with an additional open lawn space for approximately 10,500 attendees. The amphitheatre's first event was a sold-out concert by Stone Temple Pilots and Papa Roach. Other artists that have performed at the venue include Sting, Jimmy Page, Linkin Park, B.B. King, Tool, One Republic and more.
