Skrydstrup MR10

The MR10 is a rack-mount effects loop system, developed by Danish/German guitar and bass rig unit producer, [[Skrydstrup]. Skrydstrup loopers read both CC messages and MIDI program change. The MR10 unit allows for up to 10 loops, with each of them having buffers.

Wolstenholme used the Skrydstrup MR10 between The Resistance and Drones tours (and possibly earlier). He slowly replaced the previously used Sound Sculpture Switchblade GL loop system with this one, because it is primarily an analog I/O system; a signal which doesn't get affected, as opposed to the Switchblade, which was a matrix-based system. He has two of the MR10 units for three loops going into three amps. The last four loops of unit one go to amp 1, the first six of unit one go to amp 2 and the 10 loops of the second unit go to amp three.

The MR10 was also used by Bellamy between The Resistance and Drones. Matt also used a smaller unit, the Skrydstrup MR8 Loop System, between Black Holes & Revelations and Resistance tours.

For the Simulation Theory tour, both Chris and Matt upgraded the MR10's with the RJM Effect Gizmo loop systems.
