This '''Skrydstrup Custom Guitar Switcher''' is a custom rack-mountable input selector unit, custom built for Muse by [[Skrydstrup]], a Danish/German guitar and bass rig unit producer. This unit switches the guitar signal to the effect racks between a designated number of radio packs and guitar cables (in case the radio packs malfunction). Two versions were made. Version one, simply called "Guitar Switcher" (picture above), was used by Matt Bellamy until 2017. During that time, a new unit, called the "Input Selector" (which operates the same as the previous unit did), was made for both Bellamy and Wolstenholme's rigs (pictured below).

This Custom Guitar Switcher, built by Skrydstrup R & D switches the guitar signal to the rack between 4 Radio Packs, and 2 guitar cables (in case the radio packs malfunction).
The original Custom Guitar Switcher unit, made in 2006 and replaced by the new one in 2017, differed from the new unit by the white colour on the front. The unit was able to switch between 4 radio packs and 2 guitar cables, while the improved Input Selector unit is able to switch between eight radio packs and (what looks like) one cable. <ref>https://www.facebook.com/CavemanAudio/posts/i-was-contacted-by-muse-back-in-2017-because-they-needed-custom-made-input-selec/3661895963917232/</ref>
Another version was made in 2017, this one can switch the guitar signal to the rack between 8 Radio Packs, and 1 guitar cable.

Skrydstrup Custom Guitar Switcher
2017 Skrydstrup Custom Guitar Switcher

This Skrydstrup Custom Guitar Switcher is a custom rack-mountable input selector unit, custom built for Muse by Skrydstrup, a Danish/German guitar and bass rig unit producer.
