Announced on the 26{{supo|th}} of November, Muse performed for ''Saturday Night Live'',<ref name="mu20091126"/> which is recorded in Studio 8H of the GE Building.
 
In traditional Saturday Night Live fashion, both the musical guests and host were photographed and the photographs were used as transitions between advert break and the programme.  After playing Uprising, [[Matthew Bellamy]] and [[Dominic Howard]] bowed to the crowd.
