Announced on May 26th, 2022, Muse are set to headline the 2022 Rock am Ring and [[Nuremberg Zeppelinfeld 2022 (gig)|Rock im Park]] festivals together with Volbeat and [[Green Day]], on June 4th, 2022.
 
This was the seventh time that Muse appeared on [[Rock am Ring|Rock am Ring festival]], and third headlining it (last was in [[Rock am Ring 2018 (gig)|2018]]).
