Information

First promo show, one month before the album release. Muse recorded three songs at Studio 2 (London Studios) for a later broadcast of a special on MTV 2 in the UK.

After the performance they also did an interview with Zane Lowe for the "MTV Rocks Gonzo" show. You can watch the entire interview here.

The Show

First Time Is Running Out performance, and also Hysteria and Stockholm Syndrome were played in its final form for the first time.

Time is Running Out was notably heavier than the studio version and the later live version. Also Chris takes turns between the keyboard and bass to play the bassline. This was the only known time that they played it in that way.

Media

An audio recording of the broadcast is available here[registration needed] along with other CD:UK performances. Whether the 29th August was the performance date or the broadcast date is unknown.
