Here are the muse rules

Rules (Work In Progress)

This page will be protected once they've been defined and confirmed by the muse board staff team. Please do not edit this page (unless you feel like cleaning up the rules a bit)

1. Do not abuse the users on the muse board

There will be no discrimination of any kind. There will be no posts meant to offend or hurt any other member, in a manner which is offensive or inflammatory. If you believe someone is being abused or the content of a post is unacceptable, please use the report a bad post button so a moderator can look into this.

2. If your thread is locked and you want to know why, contact the moderator in charge of locking it

If your thread has been locked please do not create a new one asking why it has been locked, instead you should contact the moderator who locked the thread and enquire as to the reasons behind the lock, further posting will only lead to punishment of the anal kind.

3. No spam

Spamming is not permitted; please keep all your posts as constructive as possible. Refrain from posting excessively in a row, try and collate all your points in one post. Unnecessary bumping of topics is also considered spam; please do not unnecessarily bump topics.

4. Keep the content clean and legit

Pornography, warez, or any other illegal transactions may NOT be linked in any shape or form. Links to commercial released materials (eg Muse B Sides) are also deemed as illegal. Any nudies/large images (over 1024x768px) should be directed via a link. Anything that is deemed unsuitable for the working environment (yes people surf at work) should have a big fat “NSFW” (Not suitable for work) sign next to it so people are aware of the content of the link.

5. Be polite to the new members

We ask that you make the effort to be courteous to new members while they find their feet on the board. A new user making mistakes is not a reason to abuse them, instead inform them in a polite and positive manner or alternatively ignore it until a moderator fixes the problem. Abusing new members will not be tolerated by ANY member of the board

6. Do not retaliate to abusive posts, report them to a mod

If you are on the receiving end of such abuse then please use the report function. Retaliating in an equally negative manner will only serve to place you on the ban list as well.

7. Do not argue with the mods/admin

Users may not argue a moderators decision publicly. Any and all enquiries directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via PM. If the problem can not be resolved, then the moderator and user must send their positions to the forum admin. An admin will make or change any and/or all final decisions.

8. Search is your friend

Remember to post in the correct forum and search first to make sure it hasn't already been posted. Take your time to look at other topics and see where your topic should go. If your topic is placed in the wrong forum, it will be moved by a moderator.

9. Do not publish your contact details

We advise you not to post your contact details in public, especially mobile numbers, you WILL get weird people contacting you when you do it, in most cases, they will ask you if you are Matthew Bellamy and ask when you’ll be playing in Turkey.

10. Do not register another account

Please do not register more than one account for yourself. The reason for this is to stop users registering secondary accounts to abuse users or to get around a ban. Therefore if we discover a user having multiple accounts, we reserve the right to ban/delete not only the secondary account but all the accounts. If your account is temporarily banned and we find you have tried to register a second account, your ban will immediately become permanent. If you believe that you have an acceptable reason for a second account please contact an administrator first
