The ESP LTD M-1000 is a Multi-Scale 6-string guitar related to the M-1007MS and M-1008MS models in the ESP's LTD M range. Top-tier components on the M-1000 Multi-Scale include a set of Seymour Duncan Sentient (neck) and Nazgul (bridge) pickups that were custom-made for ESP with a special angle optimized for the multi-scale design. A push-pull control on the tone knob allows for coil splitting, providing a wealth of flexible tones. Other components include a Hipshot multi-scale bridge with string-thru-body, and LTD locking tuners. It is available in See Thru Black Satin finish only.
Touring
The guitar was used as a backup to the white Oryx guitars that required the use of a fan/multi scale fretboard and songs in the special drop B tuning, namely Won't Stand Down and Kill Or Be Killed. It was never used live. You can see it in Matt's rack during the WotP tour.
