Matt on Comparisons with Radiohead
Matthew Bellamy: "There's two things that make me understand why we've been compared. Thom Yorke is influenced by Jeff Buckley, and John Leckie produced "The Bends" and John Leckie also produced our album. But, when people see us live, they see that we're more of a rock band."

Radiohead are a Alternative Rock/Electronic band headed by Thom Yorke that was primarily popular in the 90's with their famous album OK Computer, and songs such as Creep (Pablo Honey), Just (The Bends), Paranoid Android (OK Computer), Karma Police (OK Computer) and No Surprises (OK Computer).

Many critics of Muse often cite Radiohead as an influence or a sound-alike of Muse, fans generally consider all similarities to be vague if not irritating, and that they were dissolved with the release of Origin of Symmetry. Some similarities may include the similar singing style and vocal range of Matt Bellamy and Thom Yorke, and the progressive rock influences in both bands' music.

Matt Bellamy is a fan of Radiohead's Amnesiac and is bored of the Radiohead comparisons, but takes it as a compliment. http://www.microcuts.net/uk/news/archives/11052001-microcuts_team_meet_matthew_bellamy.php
