On various occasions it has been hinted that Muse may be part of the 2012 olympic games. It is rumoured that along with other bands including Coldplay, Muse have been asked to write and perform a song at either the opening or closing ceremony. Also, it has been said that Elton John is eager to perform with Muse at the Olympics, and has comfronted them with his ideas. It is yet to be comfirmed whether any of this is true.
