Nic Cester is an Australian singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the Australian rock band Jet, whom lives, as does Matthew Bellamy, in the locality of Lake Como. The latter met Cester in said locality prior to Christmas 2006 and shortly thereafter the two had a drinking session, which was reported by The Advertiser as having been "a big night".[1]
During the 2010 Big Day Out concerts, which both Muse and Jet were performing at, Cester performed vocals for Muse's rendition of Back in Black. Bar one pre-Big-Day-Out rehearsal for which a fan performed vocals,[source?] Cester has sung for the band during the 2010 Big Day Out concerts as well as during the 2010 Stadium Tour.
