Stephanie Meyer's website announced on 6th May 2010:
"The first single on "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" has just been confirmed and I get to bring you the exclusive details. Stephanie's very favourite band, Muse, have contributed a song called "Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)" and it's the first single from the project. It will be out on 17th May. The official soundtrack will also be available on 8th June."
It was rumoured around the internet that Lady GaGa would collaborate in this song. Later on this was confirmed, however, this was a prank.[1]
