The Meteor Music Awards, or simply 'The Meteors', are the national music awards of Ireland.

Muse's performance at Oxegen won. Also nominated: performances by Arcade Fire, Björk, The Police, Bruce Springsteen and Justin Timberlake.[1]

Best International Album
Black Holes and Revelations was nominated. Also nominated: Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, Fratellies - Costello Music The Killers Sam's Town, Raconteurs - Broken Boy Soldiers, Red Hot Chili Peppers Stadium Arcadium.[2][3]
