Talk:Will of the People Theatre Tour

I am not sure if Apollo gigs should be part of this tour. Apollo venues are 5000 attendees large at max, as such this statement is rather incorrect "None of the venues exceed the 3,000 capacity, making this the smallest tour since the 2015 Psycho UK and Psycho US tours." Technically Apollo Eventim is a theater, according to their own words on venue website. But the gap between May 10th and Oct 4th is quite big tbh. Thoughts? --Ncla (talk) 12:49, 1 October 2022 (BST)

Yeah, I agree with you, it could fall into the category of "theater gigs" but there are big differences such as the capacity, and the fact that the Apollo gigs were charity concerts. Both those two and the one at the Cavern club are in a limbo, on the one hand they do promote Will of the People in some way, but they can't be compared to the others on the main tours. Hmmm, I'll let others who edit the tours more often than me make the decision, in my case I'll leave it as it is for now.--HaritzErased (talk) 12:56, 1 October 2022 (BST)
I vote to not include Apollo and Exeter in WOTP Theater Tour and treat them as standalone. There are plenty of examples of standalone gigs that do not fit the usual tour schedule/leg. Such as: Cologne Gloria Theater 2015 (gig), London Electric Ballroom 2015 (gig), Reykjavik Laugardalsholl 2016 (gig), Ischgl Ski Resort 2016 (gig), London Shepherds Bush Empire 2017 (gig), La Cigale 2018 (gig). All of which either mention being sandwiched in a on-going tour, intimate show surprise show (Electric Ballroom, this would be similar to Exeter then, which was not part of Psycho UK tour and was months apart), London by-request show which was within few days of UK festival gigs.
Exeter was sweepstake entry only, Apollo Eventim could've been one gig anyway but was two probably for the demand reasons. They both are standalone and charities, having different stage setup and setlist. Now it is debatable and maybe we should wait till Oct 4th to see if it's maybe same production and show, and maybe the fact UK missing from this tour was the reason they did Apollo gigs in first place, but at the same time the time gap is playing against these gigs being included as part of this tour. Sure, they were using same promo posters for both Apollo and theater tour, but I think that is more to do with when they announced and not using any other promotional materials.

When I've included these gigs, I thought there might be a connection between the posters, however, I was thinking of removing them for a while now, because the production/setlists probably won't be the same as the Apollo gigs, with all the new songs being rehearsed. I'd say let's wait until tomorrow.--User:KeTeVemCovers (User talk:KeTeVemCovers) 11:44, 3 October 2022 (BST)
Update: Removed Apollo gigs. It appears the autumn tour's going to be a different thing.--User:KeTeVemCovers (User talk:KeTeVemCovers) 07:12, 6 October 2022 (BST)
