The Show

  • The Cherub Rock riff was played again after the 2018 and 2019 Chicago gigs, as a tribute to Smashing Pumpkins, being a Chicago-based band.
  • Fire cannons were placed behind the band and on each side of the stage, as opposed to being located alongside the entire front of the stage.
  • The on-stage set had notably more lights than the Mexican tour set-up, including six overhead LED light structures covered with mirrors, able to move up and down, forming different shapes above the band during the second half of the show. The platforms also have flamethrowers on their back, used during Uprising solo.
  • Streamers were released during Compliance, while confetti was released during Verona. Rain confetti were released during Isolated System and Resistance.
  • Similar to the Simulation Theory World Tour or The Unsustainable Tour, a slightly larger B-stage with a sinking floor was included in the setup. The whole stage also have a sinking floor with light rigs underneath.
  • Kill or Be Killed's Feilsmann + Tiley remix was played from tape as an interstitial before Compliance, replacing The Gallery. During this interstitial time, the inflatable figure of Will the Hacker was erected.
  • Will's right hand, in which he holds the light cluster, is now flown from trussing and able to move around, as opposed to being static and placed on the ground.
  • Verona got its tour debut on this gig, as did Isolated System's shortened version ( and Resistance, both played for the first time since 2018, with Dom playing a sample pad on the B-stage for Isolated System, wearing the hacker mask.
  • The Dark Side's Alternate Reality Version was played live for the first time, with Matt sitting on Will the Hacker's inflatable shoulder while playing slide guitar.
  • Matt played a new Fender guitar for both Verona and The Dark Side.
  • Simulation Theory Theme made its return as an interstitial before the encore, almost exactly like the Simulation Theory World Tour but this time with the addition of the JFK speech.
  • A massive demon-like inflatable figure, named by Bellamy himself as "Baph", (as seen on the cover of Kill or Be Killed's Feilsmann + Tiley Reinterpretation) was aired during Kill or Be Killed with arms on each side of the stage and an ability to light-up its skeleton and its eyes. More fire was used during the updated production for the song, as opposed to previous performances.
