That recording

You don't by any chance still have the wma copy do you? Or whatever format you recorded it in (how much generation loss has this suffered)? --Tene 13:05, 28 November 2007 (GMT)

Heya, the wma files were just in the process on conversion, no quality was lost converting to mp3. Nick
How can there not have been quality loss? If the lineage includes converting from one lossy format to another, then there must have been generation loss. Unless you used lossless wma, in which case would you mind uploading the lossless copy please?
Ive deleted them off the comp. But i can re-do them ill do them in 4 parts the 4 they came in. and ill upload to muse live
Thank you for the effort :P --Tene 01:32, 29 November 2007 (GMT)

Ok, thanks. I remember hearing that Sonic Stage didn't stop people from retrieving recorded audio from Hi-MD players, back in the ol' days (cough) it stopped people from doing just that, so people had to play it back and then capture it (which was a waste because the old MD players only recorded it using Sony's lossy codec, atrac).
Could you write the lineage with the topic as well please? I presume you recorded it in PCM mode -> transfer with Sonic Stage -> encode to flac. --Tene 02:56, 30 November 2007 (GMT)
