Mylène Farmer

Mylène Farmer (born as Mylène Jeanne Gautier) is a Canadian-born French pop singer, writer and actress. Born in Quebec, Canada, before relocating to Chaville, France during her childhood, she is one of the most succesful French artists, having sold more than 30 million records in the country. She gained prominence with her debut single, called, "Maman a tort", released in 1984. Her 1988 album, "Ainsi soit je..." included Farmer's first number one song on French charts, called "Pourvu qu'elles soient douces". Her third studio album, "L'Autre...", became her best-selling album, with the lead "Désenchantée" being her most succesful single. Since then, she has released nine studio albums, with her most recent one being released in 2022, called "L'Emprise".

Work with Muse

Similar to Italian singer Elisa, Farmer worked with Muse as a featuring artist on Ghosts (How Can I Move On), with her singing in French. As with the Elisa version, Farmer's version wasn't included in the album itself, but was released as a single December 9th, 2022.[1]
