Emilie Zoé

Emilie Zoé is a Swiss musician and composer. Inspired by Swiss singer Henri Dès, she began playing guitar at the age of eight. About a decade later, in 2009, she dropped out of studies and began her music career, originally being a guitarist and back vocalist for Anna Aaron, a known Swiss singer-songwriter. She played with her up until 2015. Emilie also played guitar in a band called Autisti. She performs live with drummer Fred Bürki

During that time, she produced her first solo EP Empty, which was released in 2013. Soon after, she began recording her album, Dead End Tape, which was released in 2016. Her third work is her breakthrough LP called The Very Start, which caught attention of promoters and music producers. The album brought her an European festival tour in 2019. During the pandemic, she worked with composer Christian Garcia-Gaucher on her soudtrack to Roy Andersson's award-winning film "A Pigeon Sits on a Branch Reflecting on Life". This resulted in a 2020-released album called Pigeons: Soundtrack for the Birds on the Treetops Watching the Movie of our Lives. She also worked on her solo work during the pandemic, releasing an album called Hello Future Me in 2022. In the summer of the same year, she opened for Nick Cave on the Montreux Jazz Festival. In 2020, she recieved the Best Female Artist in French-speaking Switzerland award during the 2020 Swiss Music Awards.

Additionally, Emilie Zoé also composed music for the TV series called Anomalia, aswell as theatre plays called Andromaque, performed in La Chaux-de-Fonds, and Bleu Nuit Hôtel, performed in Fribourg.

Emilie Zoé supported Muse during the Will of the People World Tour, in Bern, Switzerland, replacing One Ok Rock in their support slot.
