What's the difference between this and "Category:Posters"? Most of the posters of that category are promotional, and not to be sold. They are made to promote gigs and are usually stuck on the walls of the streets --Susurr0 16:08, 26 December 2007 (GMT)

Well, there are merch posters as well as commercial posters at festivals such as the Carling Weekend, but if you don't think this is a good idea :/ I guess it doesn't matter too much. --Tene 16:15, 26 December 2007 (GMT)
Well, it's not that I don't think it's a good idea, it's just I don't understand this category. The poster that you included here is from a festival (or something like that), so posters from Reading Festival should be here or what? I don't get it :S --Susurr0 16:19, 26 December 2007 (GMT)
This was purely a promotional poster, whereas commercial posters are sold to people. Or at least that's the differentiation I was making - I don't know what the jargon for it is in the music business. --Tene 16:26, 26 December 2007 (GMT)
Well, then promotional posters for gigs should be included here? --Susurr0 16:38, 26 December 2007 (GMT)
I don't know, it's hardly an ultimate truth. Do you think the idea has merit now you know my rationale? --Tene 16:42, 26 December 2007 (GMT)
Well, I guess then most of the posters would be included here, and only a few such as Reading/Leeds Festival and the ones sold in the official store would be categorised just as "posters". I think it's a good idea, but we don't have a lot of the so-called "posters" (not promotional) --Susurr0 16:56, 26 December 2007 (GMT)
So based on the increased effort in finding posters and the lack of usefullness due to the limited number for-sale posters, do you think it would be more detrimental than beneficial? --Tene 17:19, 26 December 2007 (GMT)
Maybe, yeah. I don't know, it's a little pointless, but it doesn't hurt either. I don't know, really. --Susurr0 09:53, 27 December 2007 (GMT)
