Moody Center

Moody Center is an indoor multi-purpose arena, located on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin, near the downtown of Austin, Texas, USA. After it was announced that Oak View Group and the university would form a partnership to build the arena in 2018, it finally broke ground in 2019 and opened in 2022. It has the capacity of around 15,000 people and is home to the Texas Longhorns college basketball team. The arena is owned by the University of Texas at Austin, and is operated by both the university and Oak View Group.

The arena's first major event was a two-night concert featuring John Mayer, which took place a day after the arena's opening. The same month, the arena hosted George Strait and Willie Nelson's show. Apart from basketball, hosting NCAA games, Moody Center also hosts several other sporting events. It hosted its first UFC event in June of 2022, hosting the "UFC on ESPN: Kattar vs. Emmett". It also hosts bull riding events from the PBR organisation. In 2023, it is set to host its first NBA game, between San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves.
