Information

The first song on The Resistance, as well as the first single. Described as a "heavy rock take on Goldfrapp" in Mojo magazine, and features football-style chanting. Matt Bellamy describes it as a protest song about the banking situation.[3] In the 25th July issue of NME Magazine, Uprising was described as "singing, over a Marilyn Manson-style electro-glam stomp"

Zane Lowe played a 30 second snippet on his BBC Radio 1 show on 28th July 2009 as a teaser for fans. (watch) The first FULL play will be on Zane's show on 3rd August at 7.30pm "on the dot".
