drunkenness

Is is really "Pour out to me the drunkenness"? Sounds like a translation issue to me. My French is pretty much non-existent though.       Wilf  Talk 13:11, 19 September 2009 (BST)

It looks like that is the literal translation from French, but it's likely something idiomatic, like being "drunk with love." --Dyingatheist 16:52, 19 September 2009 (BST)
Yeah that's what I mean. Sounds like something that google translator might chuck up       Wilf  Talk 19:04, 19 September 2009 (BST)

live

whats with the constant change between being played live, and not? does anyone have proof that it was played? cause if not they should really stop putting it was. if they dont KNOW that it was played live then dont change it to say that it was.

pronunciation

I think Matt does mispronounces the French part (and most French people on the forums say that too). The talk show host of the French tv-show Taratata tells him how to pronounce 'livresse'.

Of course he does, it would be more surprising if he didn't... so I don't think this needs to be mentioned. Time Q 11:21, 20 March 2010 (GMT)
I can't work out how he's mispronouncing it in any major way other than singing with a somewhat English accent...in the rules of French poetry es that would in everyday spoken French are pronounced when preceding a consonant. If anything right that the presenter tried to correct him on it, but as for mispronunciation I think that's a bit of tenuous statement. Niall 11:39, 20 March 2010 (GMT)
