Could this be something like this?:
Someone who knows he has the chance to love someone, or to be happy but he somehow just would do anything, nothing to take that chance. Maybe he changes his mind on the prechorus "we are unloveable but I don't care" and falls again on the chorus. Then, the chorus, why can't you just love her? Or stop being such a dumb, escape! This makes sense until the end of the chorus.

Maybe, but everyone could be open to interpretation, and there's no point in flooding musewiki with personal interpretation - it's best to stick to what Muse themselves say about their songs...It'd remove all the interpretations from the songs articles but it might not go down well ۞ 16:24, 7 July 2007 (BST)
