Muse are set to headline the Big Day Out in Australia, including their first Sydney show on 22nd January 2010. Tickets went on sale 7th October at midnight through the official site and 09:00 through other ticket outlets.

At the start of the encore, Nic Cester from the band Jet came on stage. He and Muse performed a cover of AC/DC's "Back in Black" with Matthew Bellamy playing lead guitar, Morgan Nicholls playing rhythm guitar and Christopher Wolstenholme playing bass.
