Sawmills Studio

Is a studio based in Cornwall, England where muse recorded Showbiz. The studio is presently owned by Dennis Smith, the founder of Dangerous Records and Taste Media.


History

The studios were founded by the record producer Tony Cox in 1974.

The Recording Areas

The Creek Ambience

The studio is comprised of a control room and machine room, plus a live room with two isolation booths and 'The Cave'

Both the control room and live room have beautiful views across the lawn and creek. With no immediate neighbours there is always the option to record outside and take advantage of the famous Sawmills 'Creek Ambience'.[1]

Accommodation

Sawmills Studio Accommodation

there are five double bedrooms (three en-suite) and two twin rooms. Each room has its own television and telephone. There is a spacious lounge with satellite television, DVD player, pool table and large film library. The Sawmills is situated in acres of natural woodland, with a garden, patio and barbeque area.[2]
