Colisée Pepsi

Colisée Pepsi (Pepsi Coliseum) was a former indoor multi-purpose arena located in Quebec City, Quebec. It opened in 1949, and replaced a building on the same site that burned down. The arena was built by architects Rinfret and Bouchard and was known as "The House that Béliveau Built". In 1980, it underwent major renovations, including a complete replacement of the entrance with a large glass facade and seating capacity expansion from 10,034 to 15,176. Ever since, it mainly hosted several hockey games and concerts, until it's closure in 2015, when the Videotron Centre, a larger arena built in Quebec City, opened.

The arena's tennants included Quebec Aces of QSHL/AHL, Quebec Remparts of QMJHL, Quebec Nordiques of WHA/NHL, Quebec Rafales of IHL, Quebec Citadeles of AHL and Quebec Radio X of LNAH. Hockey events that took place in the arena include the 1971 Memorial Cup championship series, the 2008 IIHF World Championships, one game in each of the 1976 and 1991 Canada Cups and was the host of the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament between 1960 and 2015. Musical artist who performed in the arena include Metallica, Iron Maiden, Evanescence, Peter Gabriel, Green Day, Korn, Bon Jovi, Black Sabbath and more.

Since the arena was closed to the public, it continues with minimal operations and maintenance.
