Muse played in the Walter Kerr Theatre and their performance of the first single from The Resistance, Uprising, was included as part of the MTV Video Music Awards.[2][3]

KROQ held a competition through which winning listeners were allowed to ask Muse questions, as well as attending this show.[5]
