MuseBootlegs
MuseBootlegs is a Muse fansite purely dedicated to bootlegs. MuseBootlegs was created by Paul Nicholson (paul_nicko) on 13th August 2007.
There is two parts to the website, a forum and a blog. The forum is ran by vBulletin 3.6.8. which gives links to all of the downloads, the blog has all of the latest Muse news plus some downloads. The blog is powered by WordPress.
Due to restrictions of our host (plus the fact we do not want to pay loads of money for dedicated hosting) the forum is private and ran by an invite only system.
Unlike other fansites MuseBootlegs does not allow lossy rips such as MP3, AVI etc. All of the recordings are either DVD/MPG or FLAC/SHN. MuseBootlegs servers are currently hosted by Dreamhost on shared hosting. MuseBootlegs has over 70 DVD's and over 100 lossless shows to choose from which totals up to over 200gb off downloads. This is constantly increasing each week with new shows being uploaded.
The main aim of MuseBootlegs is to preserve the recordings of Muse in the best quality we can, why convert to mp3/avi now when in the future there will be much better codecs with better quality AND compression than we have now.
One day Paul is hoping to open the doors of MuseBootlegs and give access to all Muse fans...
