This concert was the fifth of seven stadium gigs during September 2010 and one of two announced on 13th November 2009[1]. muse.mu member pre-sale took place on 18th November from 09:00,[2] general pre-sale took place on 19th from 09:00[2] and general sale commenced on 20th at 09:00[1].

The most voted for songs on the polls were Bliss, Citizen Erased, Thoughts of A Dying Atheist, Hyper Music and Fury. Of these, Citizen Erased was played. As with the 2010-06-19 Goffertpark gig, the only other stadium gig during which Citizen Erased was performed, the first song of the first encore—typically Unintended—was cut. This lead to the set consisting of 21 songs rather than 22, like Goffertpark and unlike other stadium gigs. Before Citizen Erased, Bellamy made a joking comment of changing the website "from muse.mu to CitizenErased.com". Matthew Bellamy returned for the second encore in a Christmas suit[6] with LEDs[7] and later during said encore, balloons with irises on them were released to accompany Plug In Baby.[8]

When asked which was the best date of the tour, Christopher Wolstenholme tweeted "Maybe the San Siro of [sic] possibly Old Trafford."[9]
