First show of The Resistance Stadium Tour

Information

Announced by the official Muse website on the 18th of January, 2010, Muse performed within Stade de Suisse on June 2nd, 2010, as part of The Resistance Stadium Tour. A pre-sale through Ticketcorner took place on the 20th of January, between 8AM and 5:30PM, while general sale started on the 22nd at 8PM.[1]

Muse were supported by The Big Pink and Editors.

The show

Take a Bow was played for the first time since 2008, and Unintended for the first time in 2010. The gig also saw the live debut of MK Jam, named after the rehearsal area for the tour, Milton Keynes, which the jam was first played on, replacing Helsinki Jam. A "riot-ized" version of We Are the Universe was played as an intro to Uprising, featuring riot SFX, air raid sirens and tribal drums.

As with other 2010 stadia concerts, Bernie the UFO was used during Exogenesis: Symphony Part I (Overture). Streamers and confetti were released during Guiding Light.

Interestingly enough, none of the top 5 songs from the setlist polls were played: Citizen Erased, Bliss, Showbiz, Butterflies & Hurricanes or Muscle Museum / Assassin.
