Specs
The only internal effects are the usual Fuzz Factory and MXR Phase 90. Originally with a Rio Grande Covered Bastard on the neck and Rio Grande Crunch Box on the bridge. Now has a Mississippi Queen on the bridge and neck positions. The guitar now features a string tree on the headstock.

Background
It was built at the same time as the Rust Relic for the December 2004 Earls Court Exhibition Centre concerts.
This guitar is now mainly only used for Plug in Baby live.

At the War Child gig Matt smashed this guitar first into Dom's bass drum, then a few times into his Dickinson amp and finally across Dom's drum kit. Some pieces of the mirror cover can be seen detached during the impacts. The guitar has been repaired since, and was seen back in action at the Toronto gig, on the 10th April. According to Tim Stark's facebook page, the mirror has a brand new body.
This guitar that appeared at the Stockholm STV TV Programme on the 14th of September 2012. Like the Manson Carbon, this guitar does not feature a X/Y midi controller pad, a change from a majority of Matt's Resistance era guitars.
This is the second of six Manson guitars created by Hugh Manson for Bellamy in 2012.

The guitar had to match a specific weight requirement (around 2.4kg) so multiple holes were drilled into the body, neck (routed), hardware to reach the target weight. This is the lightest guitar Hugh has built for Matt.
It features the custom knobs and machineheads of the Delorean, but with 5/6 holes drilled into them at the back to reduce the weight.

With the Manson M1D1 Gloss Black it's the most frequently guitar used on the 2nd Law tour.
Dom wore a skeleton costume in honor of Halloween.
For only the second time (the other being Saturday Night Live), Matt did not swear during Panic Station. However, in a scramble to reach his microphone in the beginning of Time Is Running Out, he did say " I think I'm fucking drowning." After getting some lyrics wrong ("you will squeeze the life out of me" in lieu of "you will be the death of me"), during the bridge of the song, Matt said "This has really gone wrong, this one I can't sing it!". He apologized afterwards (and also claimed that wiggling his bum in Dom's direction was one of his favorite pastimes).
Matt played the Supermassive Black Hole solo on his head using the Kaoss Pad.
He also played the guitar during Undisclosed Desires for the first time ever, even if it was just for a sound effect and not a real use of the guitar.
For the first time, Explorers was played without the Montpellier Jam.
During Starlight, he held up the microphone to several people during the "Black Holes and Revelations" part of the song and let them sing along.

Chris started using a Fender Jazz Bass solely for Sing for Absolution in the studio and occasionally during the Absolution Tour (2003-2005), also for that song. The first show when he used exclusively Fender (American Deluxe Candy Tangerine model) was at the last gig of the Absolution Tour, the Live 8 Gig , for the four songs performed. Since the start of the Black Holes and Revelations Tour he uses Fender Jazz Basses for nearly all songs, old and new, except Map of the Problematique and Knights of Cydonia (played with his Rickenbacker 4003) and Micro Cuts (played with his Pedulla Rapture RB4). During The Resistance tour the Jazz Basses were partially replaced by the Status basses. These days, starting the The 2nd Law tour Chris, rarely uses the Fender Jazz Basses.
This model is custom made for Chris. It's based on the Status S2-Classic, but differs in a few points from his forerunner:

* The bridge pickups has been moved away from the bridge by 20mm to make the right-hand technique a little more flexible.

* The neck pickup has also been moved towards the fingerboard by 10mm which makes the tone a little warmer.

* Volume / pickup balance and bass / treble controls have been reversed when compared to a standard Status bass. This has no effect on the way the controls operate, it's just a personal preference Chris has.

* A new midrange control has been fitted : this has individual controls for both mid frequency and mid cut / boost. This allows you to pin-point the exact midrange frequency then adjust exactly how much is to be boosted or cut. This midrange control can be pre-set and there is an on/off switch to by-pass it completely.

* Chris also specified front LEDs as a custom option. His main bass currently has blue LEDs (red, green, amber and white are also available)

* Black hardware is standard on Chris' basses (gold and chrome are also available)

* Individual mono-rail bridge units are fitted as standard.

Probably, he first played his custom model at the Olympic Closing Cerenomy. It's unknown, if this model differs from the prototype model, wherefore it's unclear if he used the signature model first-time in 2012 or 2011. At the beginning of the The 2nd Law stadium tour Chris received, according to his tweet, three new custom basses. Two of them seem to be the signature basses. One has white-LED's embedded and a blue finish, the other one has red-LED's. The two new basses replaced the walnut and graphite Status S2-Classic.
Background
This is a new guitar that appeared on the Muse Twitter Account on 9th August 2012, It is the first of Matt's Manson guitars (apart from the Ali-Top) not to have any internal effects/controllers. The guitar does not feature a X/Y midi controller pad, a change from a majority of Matt's Resistance era guitars.

Although the debut of this guitar was during the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the guitar was not actually played. It is quite clear throughout the footage that all instrumentation was mimed, making this also one of the first times Muse have mimed sensibly.

This was one of five other Manson guitars created by Hugh Manson for Bellamy in 2012.

The Bridge pickup was changed to a (presumably Manson MBK-1) P90 Pickup before the London Roundhouse gig

Muse Twitter

At the Birmingham gig on the 30th of October the Manson carbon was fitted with a single coil Seymour Duncan pickup in place of the fernandes sustainer.
Hugh Manson on the 7 string
"Matthew Bellamy bought that second-hand. I made it for a jazz musician as a 7-string guitar with no bridge pickup, just a neck pickup and a bridge transducer (7-string) which I had custom-made with Mike Christian saddles in it. It's an archtop, straight-though neck, hollow-chambered guitar. Matt came in to the shop and said, ‘I need a 7-string for a certain song’ and I said, ‘I've got this one here that a guy doesn't want.’ He tried it and said, ‘Yeah, that'll do’. It's a great sounding guitar and it's probably my favourite out of all of them."

According to Matt in an interview with Australian Guitar Magazine 2010, this was the first guitar he bought from Manson's guitar shop.
This was Matthew Bellamy's first guitar to feature an X-Y MIDI plate, able to control a number of devices, including a Korg Kaoss pad, or a Digitech Whammy etc. This feature has since been included in many of Bellamy's guitars such as the Red Glitter and the Black Midi. The guitar has a pair of hot P90's in the bridge position and was the first of the Matthew Bellamy's custom Manson's to have this configuration. This layout now features on the Mirror Kaoss and on the Doubleneck.

Matt on the Gibson Les Paul DC Lite:
This is a Gibson Les Paul (Slimline Double Cutaway). This was his main guitar for the most of the touring in 2000, until Bellamy rammed it into a Marshall 4x12 at the Dublin Olympia. The headstock has been glued back on so it's sort of ok, just a little fragile now. Apparently the object taped below the bridge is "a piece of bass fretboard".

Has gold hardware.

It also appears that Matt had another Les Paul DC Lite, with the exact same specs as the gold version (apart from this guitar had chrome hardware and no Roland GK2 MIDI pickup.) This guitar also had black tape around the edge of it. A video of the guitar can be found here
Hugh Manson on the Bomber
"Bellamy said, ‘We're on tour in four weeks time and I need a guitar with a tremolo on’. He said he wanted a rounded-off version of the first guitar with a mirror finish. I didn't have the technology to chrome-plate wood, or the time, as I was in Japan teching for John Paul Jones at the Guitar Wars project with Steve Hackett, Nuno Bettencourt and Paul Gilbert. So I got hold of the only guy I know who could do the mirroring, Martin Sims, and said, I need this guitar done incredibly quickly. Martin had the body for just two weeks to chrome plate and, because he had no time to do it properly, it came back with flash points where the mirroring hadn't worked and loads of bubbles in the topcoat. By this time the band had started their tour, but I looked at it and decided I could do something with it. I went to the local scrap yard and bought some rivets that came from an airplane. I don't know which one but on the box it said ‘1945’, so they're Second World War aluminium probably from a Spitfire or something. I decided to drill a load of holes and put rivets in to make it look like it was made from sheet metal. Then I went to town with an airbrush making it bluey purple. I was trying to make it look like a sort of burnt wing of a B52 bomber, I suppose. Luckily it turned out amazingly and it sounds awesome. It's funny how something that starts out being a good project, goes through this potential disaster stage and comes round to being a massive success."
Two people recorded this concert.

One was Pete Bullock ('Petrock2000'). This recorder recorded through an OKMIIR into a Sony MZ-G750 in LP2 mode. This is available here. As well as this recording, this person recorded the IEM (In Ear Monitor), however he will only trade this for other IEM recordings. Of the IEM recording, only a sample of Hysteria was released in mp3 format.
This was the first concert where the kaoss pad was used during the Supermassive black hole solo.

The Shuffle Dance is the fan dub given to one of Matthew Bellamy's stage theatrics. It consists of Bellamy shuffling his feet so as to appear to be sliding across the stage. It appears to have been created as a part of the "Micro Cuts" puppet strings routine that was used between the start and the first verse in some concerts on the 2002 tour, an example of which can be seen on the Rock am Ring 2002 video.

One example of it being used on the Absolution tour can be seen on the DVD with the same name, during "Time Is Running Out" at Glastonbury 2004. It can also been seen in the Brit Awards performance of "Hysteria".

Bellamy's first known use of the shuffle during the Black Holes and Revelations tour occurred during the 11th September 2007 concert in the Lifestyles Communities Pavilion, right before a performance of "Supermassive Black Hole". The move can also be seen in live recordings of "Knights of Cydonia" at Reading Festival 2006. You can also see it being used in Time is running out, in some cases on the resistance tour, yet whilst doing so there is no spotlight on Matt and so can't be easily seen.

The shuffle dance was an idea emulated from Jamie Crowe (ex-Rootjoose guitarist) when Muse supported Rootjoose.
Hugh Manson on the Manson 007
"Matt came to me and said, ‘Can you build a guitar with a whammy pedal in it?’ I thought for moment and said, ‘Of course we can‘. Then I looked at the back of a whammy pedal and realised it draws a lot of power. Unless he wanted a guitar full of batteries that he could only use for 40 seconds, it wasn't gonna work. Then I realised the modern whammy has a MIDI controller system with it, so I went to a great friend of mine, Ron Joyce, who does all my weird electronic stuff, and said, ‘I want to control that pedal from this guitar’. He said, All you need is a pot. I looked in to pots but realised that rotary pots gave the wrong feel. Eventually we came up with the linear pot from the side of a keyboard, which acts as a MIDI controller pad and goes in to a microprocessor to control the whammy. It just number crunches MIDI numbers -you tell it what you want it to do and it'll do it. It'll control a whammy pedal, it'll control a kaoss pad, it'll turn the lights up and down, it'll turn your heated blanket on, whatever you want in terms of MIDI. I don't think anyone's done that in a guitar before."

Additional information
This guitar is featured on the "Time Is Running Out" music video. Although this guitar is officially named as "007", Matt calls it "Black Ed" (as he tells in the July's 2010 Guitar Player magazine). But to fans it is most known as the "Black Manson" or "Blackie". It is the first of Matt's Manson guitars to be fitted with a fernandes sustainer.

Touring
On the Absolution Tour DVD, there is a short clip of Muse playing in a small bar in America using this guitar for Stockholm Syndrome. After it, Bellamy walks outside while still playing and throws this guitar in the trash dumpster. A guy then takes it but Bellamy got it back later. In one interview, Matt said after throwing the guitar away and going back to the bus, he thought about it and regretted it because it was one of his favourite guitars and thought he was not going to get it back. When asked why he threw it away, he said it was because it was making a "racket".

In an interview with Guitar Player (July 2010) magazine, Matt explained that he does not use this guitar live very much due to it's weight and the fact that it's much louder than his other guitars.
"The one I used the most on The Resistance is called “Black Ed.” It has a really amazing tone, but it’s extremely heavy, and it’s also louder than all of my other guitars, so it doesn’t quite work for performing live. It has a few gizmos in it, as well—a Z.Vex Wah Probe, a Z.Vex Fuzz Factory, and an MXR Phase 90." Nowadays this guitar is only really used live for Starlight.
A new guitar built by Hugh Manson to replace Matthew Bellamy's original Manson Red Glitter, which was damaged beyond repair after being dragged off the tower by a curtain at Los Angeles Staples Center, in September 2010. The new guitar has a more even coat of glitter and a Mirror Perspex XY Pad frame as opposed to its predecessor which bore 4 distinct lines of glitter and an alloy XY Pad frame. The new guitar also has a black pickup frame at the bridge pickup, as opposed to its predecessor which had a silver pickup frame.

Additional Information
Official replicas of the Red Glitter and Seattle Manson can be bought from the Manson online store. The MB-1 range (Matt Bellamy series 1) has a starting price of £3099 for a Black basic version with no midi screen or Manson hardware. Adding a Red Sparkle Finish costs £200 and adding a MIDI Screen costs £300, so a guitar identical to Bellamy's costs £3599. Adding the Alloy Machine Heads, as on Matts 'Delorean and' 'Son of Delorean/Ali Top' guitars, would cost an additional £250.

Touring
This guitar received its first outing on 21st October 2010, at the Quebec City Pepsi Coliseum, where already it began to inherit the spirit of its predecessor by being thrown into Dominic Howard's china cymbal. Bellamy has been throwing this guitar around quite extensively, mostly at the end of Stockholm Syndrome. A video of him throwing it at Howard's kick drum at the Rod Laver Arena gig in Melbourne, Australia, shows the guitar getting a battering. At the Bassendean Oval gig, the guitar was thrown repeatedly and violently at Howard's drum-set, again at the end of Stockholm Syndrome.

It was believed to be damaged beyond repair after the Kyiv Palats Sportu but was repaired by Manson's Guitars and was back in action at LA Rising.

As of August 2011 it now has a Manson DL-1 Neck as the original's headstock was split after being thrown in the air whilst on tour in the USA
Hugh Manson on the Delorean
"Matt came to the shop and asked me to make a guitar for him. He had a definite idea of what he wanted it to sound like. We reached the body design through a combination of me drawing and him pointing and we got there pretty quickly, I think there was just a slight alteration on the top horn. In terms of the aluminium finish, that was an interesting one. I plated the whole thing and thought, 'My God, I'm gonna have to polish this and that's gonna be a nightmare.' It was all covered in really rough file marks and looked industrially atrocious. I was summoning up the energy to take it home and spend a week flattening it down and polishing it, but before that I took it down to the shop to show the lads how it was going. By fluke Matt turned up at the shop that day and I said, Why don't you have a look at the work in progress? He looks at it and goes, 'Oh wow, I love the finish!' I thought, That's brilliant, exactly what I want to hear."
*Matt let me have a go on it during the Hyper Music video shoot, until some arsehole took it away from me :( --crazybobbles 01:04, 21 April 2008 (BST)
This was the first custom built guitar Matt got from Hugh Manson. In an interview with Australian Guitar Magazine, Matt talked a bit about how this guitar came to be:

- Matt wanted a guitar that sounded like a P-90 Gibson guitar but looked like a Telecaster. In his sketches, he essentially drew a Telecaster with a hook on it, similar to an SG.

- As he was spending lots of money, Matt really wanted to make this unique. Instead of going for a wooden guitar, he was inspired by the DMC Delorean in Back to the Future
and thought it would be great to have a guitar with a rough metal finish.

-A Bass Guitar string was fitted on the sixth string of this guitar whilst recording Citizen Erased.

Official replicas of the Delorean, Black Midi and Glitterati Manson can be bought from the Manson online store. The DL-1 range (DeLorean series 1) has a starting price of £2999 for a Aluminum basic version, the internal Fuzz Factory is an additional £300, while both the internal MXR Phase 90 and internal Fuzz Factory an additional £600. Custom Manson hardware comes at a price of additional £250 for the standard guitar and £275 for the internal effects one.

- In an interview in 2006 Bellamy answered the question "If you had to give up all your possessions but you could only keep three, which 3 would you keep?" By saying he'd keep this guitar saying that it "means alot [sic] to him".

Description
While this song was written on piano by Matthew Bellamy, it was recorded on both guitar and synths. Matt then mixed both of the sounds together. The main riff was inspired by System of a Down. Standard set closer throughout the Absolution tour and sometimes during the Black Holes and Revelations tour. Usually multiple riffs are played after the song. An example of this is the L.A Staples Centre Gig in which more than eight riffs were played after Stockholm Syndrome.

Additional information
The syndrome is named after the Norrmalmstorg robbery of Kreditbanken at Norrmalmstorg, Stockholm in which the bank robbers held bank employees hostage from August 23 to August 28, 1973. In this case, the victims became emotionally attached to, and even defended, their captors after they were freed from their six-day ordeal. The term was coined by the criminologist and psychologist Nils Bejerot, who assisted the police during the robbery, and referred to the syndrome in a news broadcast. The majority of the hostages were okay, but one of them committed suicide and another changed his name to that of one of his captors and disappeared.

This song was first written by Matt on the piano, before being played on the guitar.

The song was added to Guitar Hero 3 on 8th May 2008 along with Supermassive Black Hole and Exo-Politics as part of a Muse track pack.

A cover of this song is featured on the String Quartet Tribute to Muse.

The effect that Matt uses on this song live on H.A.A.R.P (which he kicks on after the second chorus) is what's known as 'zero-through flange'; which, incidentally, is the earliest form of flange, back when recording engineers were pinching the actual tape to get the effect. However, zero-through flange is available on very few conventional flanger pedals. Matt achieves this effect by using his TC Electronic G Major (this effect is also available on the TC Electronic Vortex flanger, for those of you who want to replicate the sound at a much cheaper price).

Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater covered the intro on his drumming focused ‘‘In Constant Motion‘‘ DVD XccQ7AYFRWM

Played backwards
<flashmp3>http://www.musewiki.org/images/Inverted_Stockholm_Syndrome_Refrain.mp3|rightbg=0xDDEEFF|leftbg=0xDDEEFF|bg=0xFFFFFF</flashmp3>

When the chorus is played backwards, it sounds something like "You can't see me, we sneak off. I lost to love. Please ... save the night wind and high above, I lost to love. Sing, save". Allegedly.
The M1D1 Mirror is a guitar that Hugh Manson built for review in the March 2006 issue of Guitarist Magazine. The name was derived from a customer confusing the term "Midi" for "M1D1".

The guitar was damaged when Matthew Bellamy threw it at a strobe light. Manson's Guitar confirmed that it had been split in half and now resides inside Hugh's shop, where it can be seen on display.

The M1D1 Mirror was replaced by the Black Midi.
Double neck Manson???
I found this tweet from Bare Knuckle Pickups, what do you think? --Martino 17:24, 16 April 2010 (BST)
:Perhaps something to do with the studio photographs posted on twitter. I don't know what to think, the twitter feed is linked to on Bare Knuckle Pickups' front-page, so the feed appears genuine. I can't imagine any motivation to fib, so unless it's a joke, I guess it could be true. Double-neck guitars would be a bit of a change, to say the least. Metal songs on the horizon? --Tene 11:28, 17 April 2010 (BST)
Black Ed
I was reading Matt's interview in Guitar Player mag and he said that the guitar he used most on the Resistance was called Black Ed. I was just wondering if anyone new if this was the 007 or the Black Midi? --Muserism 00:19, 17 June 2010 (BST)
---
I'm sure it is Kaoss Manson, beacause it is used for the most songs of the 'black' guitars --IIIAliAsIII 17:00, 17 June 2010 (GMT)
---
I read the article and I reckon it 007/Blackie, he mentions it had Fuzz Factory & Wah Probe etc, its the only guitar that has a Wah Probe --RustRelic
It was the 007/Black Manson. Thats wat he said in an interview a while ago. Im sorry i dont have a link. --MuseIsAwesome13 02:14, 13 July 2010 (BST)
---
OK it looks like Black Ed is Blackie. But - don't we agree it is the least used guitar not just in the Resistance era, but always... ? It is used for Starlight again and it was used for U2 and AC/DC cover, and for Uprising and Unnatural selection at the beginning of the tour - and that is pretty much it. For example.. even Glitterati is used more often than 007. But most used manson this year is definatly Kaoss. My guess is Matt was a little confused during that interview :) --IIIAliAsIII 12:28, 13 July 2010 (GMT)
---
Another thing though, they use different guitars in studio than on tour. Maybe they just used 007 for recording but didn't like it's live sound. Cause he said he used it to record. --MuseIsAwesome13 15:44, 13 July 2010 (BST)

---
As stated in he magazine, he said it was used in studio but not live because it's too heavy and too loud to be played live comfortably PhiLam64 22:00 November 1, 2010
Matt showed this new guitar at Silver Clef Awards 2010... does anyone know something more?

:I would say that he spray painted an old one but the knobs are different too. --MuseIsAwesome13 16:34, 3 July 2010 (BST)
:i know.. and it has a button instead of a toggle switch.. like new Manson Mirror Kaoss--Martino 18:23, 3 July 2010 (BST)
:It is definitly new guitar. It most likely has Manson's pickup on the bridge and P90 on the neck (that would be the first combination like that), push button kill switch and no special circuits in it. This is Delorean 3 :) But we should rather wait until it is used at a gig (if it'll ever be) and than we'll know more. Or if anybody else has some more info... :) --IIIAliAsIII 19:33, 3 July 2010 (GMT)

Kaoss Manson also needs a footnote symbol. It is not featured in the Muse gallery at the Mansons website and i believe it is called a Black Ed officialy (read the previous section). --IIIAliAsIII 17:21, 17 June 2010 (GMT)
:Righto, footnote symbol added. Will sort out the Black Ed bit by citing that article, doing a bit of stats on black guitars used and adding a bit of rationale. Later though, not now :P --Tene 17:42, 17 June 2010 (BST)
:OK :) and i've just found another one that is not featured at the Mansons and has unofficial name: Chrome Kaoss Manson. All the others are officialy named. --IIIAliAsIII 18:56, 17 June 2010 (GMT)

One thing I've noticed is that the Chrome Kaoss Manson keeps getting it's named changed to Mirror Kaoss. It keeps going back and forth between Chrome and Mirror. Can we make up our mind and just call it something? --MuseIsAwesome13 16:21, 28 June 2010 (BST)
:In my opinion Mirror Kaoss is better name for it than Chrome. Because finish is the same as the Mirror Manson has. --IIIAliAsIII 17:42, 28 June 2010 (GMT)
:::Looks like the move log, like the revision log, doesn't have enough space for comprehensive rationale, so here's mine for forthcoming changes:
:::
Look like there's a new Manson Guitars website (http://mansons.co.uk/gallery/). In said gallery, it's not explicitly stated that any of the guitars belong to/were built for Matthew Bellamy, but the images match the previous ones. One problem we do have now, is that Red Glitter appears to have been renamed Red Sparkle, while another less sparkly, non-custom-built guitar is called Red Glitter. For the sake of collective sanity, let's just make an intuitive judgement that the new information is more accurate than the old, despite the new gallery not explicitly stating that they're the guitars we're interested in.

Who changed all the names of the guitars? I highly doubt the red glitter manson is named the Santa Manson (as cozy as that would be). On Manson's website it calls it 'Red Sparkle' ---PhiLam64

They are the official names which Matt calls his guitars. There is a picture of a setlist for Matt's tech which shows which guitars are used for which songs and what they should be tuned to in the NME 100 Page Icons Special. It should also be noted that the Silver/ Chrome Bomber and the Mirror Manson are not the names which Matt calls them, however the names are to hard to read from the picture of said setlist. Guitarcam

Is it possible to get a link to that picture or an article ? Can anybody scan it? :) IIIAliAsIII 14:04, 11 October 2010 (BST)
In the bottom left picture (Page 63), its the sheet of paper to the left of the acoustic guitar. The column that has the names of the guitars written has been cut off though in the scan because its so close to the edge of the page:
I was on tumblr and i found this picture: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lbpz37BPty1qau3gno1_500.jpg
Maybe its just a trick of the light or something but it looks almost bronze? i dunno.
----
It is Manson Mirror :) IIIAliAsIII 22:37, 11 November 2010 (GMT)

i dont think its the mirror manson because the mirror doesnt have black pickups. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Muse_melbourne28012010.jpg that has to be a new one. white/mirror/silver and black pickups. cant be old delorean or mirror.--User:Danooch

It is the mirror. The pickups look black in the picture probably due to the light. Look at the Manson Mirror page- the pick ups are chrome/silver. Plus, doing small comparisons, we can see that the guitars both in this picture and this one have the same layout in everything- same pickups, same knob layout etc. If anything has happened to the Mirror Manson than it has had new pickups, which I highly doubt as in all the pictures, the pickups are the same. --The Groove

Anyone know anything about this?
http://www.mansons.co.uk/news/2010/62.html
They are a new pickup model designed by Hugh in collaboration with Bare Knuckle Pickups. All the info you need for them is right there on the page you linked to. What else did you want to know?

Replica Mansons
I thought that it might be quite cool of there was a gallery for people to post their replica Mansons somewhere. Does anyone agree? If so, can someone set this page up? --SC-1 17:59, 28 November 2010 (GMT)

:If I'm honest, I don't support this idea. It is just strange to me, that MuseWiki would share the info about who made the unofficial Manson replicas and showing them here. I don't see MuseWiki that way.
:As example what I'm trying to say... it would be the same to me if someone suggested, that MuseWiki should have the 'Muse Covers' section where people could show ther interpetation of Muse songs. MuseWiki should not be exploited for such things. It is OK with me to show this kind of info in your profile page, but making it as a special section... No :)

:Therefore I'm removing the Manson Replicas section from the Guitars. I would like to hear the opinions about this of the people who have the authority here, and others of course :) --IIIAliAsIII 15:19, 16 January 2011 (GMT)
Background

The show opened with the audio of a speech by John F. Kennedy about secret societies, with the corresponding text being shown up on the big screen. During Stockholm Syndrome, a fan from the crowd got past the security at the barricade and made it up onto the stage, though he was quickly taken away by security. This was the first known time that Unintended was played in the US since it was played live on KCRW Morning Becomes Eclectic on 8th August 1999. The balloons were released during Plug In Baby, while lasers and CO2 were used during Take a Bow. It was the last time so far Hoodoo was played. It was also the last confirmed gig the Manson Laser was used at.
Background

It has a few gizmos in it, as well—a Z.Vex Wah Probe, a Z.Vex Fuzz Factory, and an MXR Phase 90."
The most voted songs on the official set-list polls were Citizen Erased, Showbiz, Fury, Assassin and Bliss, of which Citizen Erased and Bliss were played during the gig.

The band decided to open with Plug In Baby to cheer the crowd up, as there was torrential rain all day. Bellamy even titled the gig, "Miserable Oxegen," on the set-list. The band's effort to cheer up the crowd did not stop with the set-list. While the sirens blasted out to signal their entrance, Howard strolled out and posed centre stage, wearing a tall feathered hat, a red jacket, and most alarmingly tights, with green hot pants over the top. Bellamy then appeared wearing a transparent rain jacket, over a shiny, red suit, and his blue shutter LED glasses, resembling a spaceman of some sort.

A nice, unintended touch from the weather, was the rain making the lights look like glitter. This was most noticeable during Undisclosed Desires.

Before Bliss was played, Bellamy jokingly took a dig at the Muse Messageboard. "That bloody messageboard!" He remarked, while introducing the song. "That great messageboard!" Dom then corrected him.

The infamous megaphone was present on stage by the piano, but perhaps the band thought the crowd were not feeling so good.
