Fender is a private corporation, currently located in Scottsdale, Arizona with Andy Mooney serving as the CEO. Acquired in the 1960s, Fender also owns Squier, a much older, former guitar, banjo and violin manufacturer, now producing Fender's budget lines and alternatives, aswell as Bigsby, [[Jackson]], Charvel and [[Gretsch]].

The Tom Morello Signature Stratocaster has been released in 2020, following it's reveal at Winter NAMM in January of the same year. It's been available since March of 2020.
Through the years, both Chris and Matt have used Fender guitars and amps due to their distinct sounds and continue to use them for certain songs and sounds, despite both having signature guitar and bass models.

The Strat was first shown by Bellamy in an [https://www.instagram.com/p/CEp6K4Cjksh/ Instagram photo], Bellamy presumably recieved the Signature Stratocaster from Morello himself.

The guitar is based on Morello's iconic "Soul Power" guitar - the modified Designer Series Stratocaster used during his time in Audioslave. It features all regulary features of a Strat but also includes a Floyd Rose Tremolo System, a kill switch, a "Modern C"-shape maple neck with 9.5"-14" compound radius rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium-jumbo frets and a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails pickup, paired with two Fender Noiseless pickups.
