Bridge Over Water is a cover of a Simon & Garfunkel song of the same name. Bellamy's version was released on September 11th, 2020, two years after [https://youtu.be/iBRZH_ZmZOU?t=103 Bellamy mentioned he'd love to cover a Simon & Garfunkel song].
Originally called STT Interstitial 2, the song was written for the Simulation Theory World Tour, as an intro to [[Algorithm (song)|Algorithm]] and only the first half of the song was played via tape. The song, in full, was released as "Behold, The Glove" on August 28th, 2020, after its inclusion in the [[Simulation Theory Film (live)|Simulation Theory Film]].

The official release of the song was teased by Matt via various short Instagram clips of him on a horse with the "Power Glove" in the middle of a desert.

Matt's cover is simple in instrumentation, only featuring an acoustic guitar, an organ and a keyboard. Bellamy excluded the third verse, which appears in the original, starting with the line "Sail on Silver Girl...".
The studio version of the song features an extension to the instrumental first part with a slow 80s drum pattern, reminiscent of synthwave songs. The song has also been compared to Jean Michel Jarre.

This is the first cover by a different artist outside of Muse, released under Bellamy's own name.

When you're weary

When tears are in your eyes,
I will dry them all, all.
I'm on your side, oh,
when times get rough
and friends just can't be found.
