Muse played after Jet and before Tool, the headlining band of the Big Day Out festival
During the gig Dom spoke to the crowd saying "Hello Adelaide." His geographical error caused Matt to turn around and say "we're in fucking Perth you dick." According to Dom, Matt was quite pissed off with him for the remainder of the day.
