Tickets went on sale 7th June, following a fan pre‐sale on the 4th. Biffy Clyro was announced as support act for this concert on 26th of August, as well as for Sydney and Melbourne gigs.

This gig is the last on the Resistance World Tour.

There were some technical difficulties with the large screens either side of the stage. These were eventually fixed during New Born.

Matt threw his Manson Santa 2.0 repeatedly at Dom, who flinched at the end of the riffs after Stockholm Syndrome. It wasn't overly damaged though. The balloons were released during Plug In Baby. While playing War Within A Breath, Matt performed the "tripod" move which Tom Morello did at Rock am Ring. In an interview with MTV [watch], Matt described this move as "out of this world".
