Matchbook Romance are an alternative rock and pop punk band from New York, who have been compared to Muse many times in reviews. The bassist has said that he is a fan of Muse.
The bassist Ryan Kienle played the Hysteria main bass line during a live show in Birmingham on September 22nd 2006.[1]
Andrew Jordan mentioned in an October 2006 interview with Confront Magazine that Muse is "Rock" but "isn't huge right now", and that a band "like that could definitely bring it back".[2]
