Information

Part of Jim Beam Welcome Sessions, Muse has been invited to perform live in James B. Beam Distillery's backyard on October 8th. Entry was acquirable through sweepstakes in select countries. The last time the band played in Kentucky was 2005.

Sweepstakes

The only way for fans to get entry to this gig was by participating through sweepstakes. The winners of the sweepstakes get tickets for a two day experience which consists of distillery tour and the concert, with international travel, hotel stay and meal expenses being covered by organizers.[2] Sweepstakes have been seen open in England, Germany[3], South Africa[4], United States[2], Australia.[5][6]

Invitations were sent to select individuals as well.

The Show

Private concert as part of the Jim Beam Welcome Sessions, much like the Exeter gig earlier this year. This is not part of the ongoing theatre tour.

Citizen Erased was soundchecked the day before the show, despite not going on to be played on the night.[7] The Kaoss Pad wasn't used again, as noted by this clip of The Gallery.

Media

Based on a few images and clips which have surfaced from the gig, phones were supposedly allowed on the gig, however it is unknown if any complete fan recordings will be uploaded. If not, like the Exeter Cavern gig, it could be uploaded profesionally in the future.

Attendees were told that any video over 10 seconds had to be pre-approved by Jim Beam and Muse prior to posting.
