This concert will be part of the European leg of "The Resistance" tour, announced on the 1st of June.[1] Fan pre-sale information and links were announced on the 3rd of June.[3] Pre-sale took place on the 11th–12th[3] and general sale started on the 12th.[1]

On playing songs from "The Resistance" live, Dominic Howard stated that learning to do so "should take a while!"[4]
