Information
Bridge Over Water is a cover of a Simon & Garfunkel song of the same name. Bellamy's version was released on September 11th, 2020, two years after Bellamy mentioned he'd love to cover a Simon & Garfunkel song.
Additional Information
Matt's cover is simple in instrumentation, only featuring an acoustic guitar, an organ and a keyboard. Bellamy excluded the third verse, which appears in the original, starting with the line "Sail on Silver Girl...".
This is the first cover by a different artist outside of Muse, released under Bellamy's own name.
