During the Curiosa tour in the US, Chris fractured the scaphoid bone in his hand after a nice game of football with some mates. Apparently Didz from The Cooper Temple Clause gave him a proper tackle causing them to cut the tour short. Morgan Nicholls took over on bass for festival dates in Europe and gigs in Australia but played in France and New Zealand with a purple plaster cast. Chris performed backing vocals, some keyboard and balloon throwing at these shows.
