Italics?

Unless you're planning on converting every mention of an album in an article (for example, all the media articles, all the single articles, all the song articles...) to italics, then what's the point? Is it necessary? ۞ 20:24, 16 December 2007 (GMT)

Obviously I can't get to all of it now. But I started doing it because Showbiz (song) isn't the same as Showbiz (album), as well as making it easier to spot that it's a song name when it's in quotes. This also works well with most conventions on how to write song names, album names, and all. It's a bit of work, but since Muse doesn't have too many albums, shouldn't be too difficult. --Muserwiki 20:48, 16 December 2007 (GMT)
Fair enough - maybe start from discography and see where to go from there - media can probably be left since it's generally copied from other sources. ۞ 21:00, 16 December 2007 (GMT)
Is this necessary on the main discography page? Where will the line be drawn? Because it seems fine to leave it as it was, or will you be moving on to adding "" to every song in track lists and set lists and so on? - it's not like we need to differentiate in the main discography article after all, and it make sit look quite messy. I think it should be applied to bodies of text but necessarily ever single list because it's excessive. Unlike Wikipedia this is an encyclopedia about a band and such formatting seems superfluous here. ۞ 22:40, 16 December 2007 (GMT)
I think its not necessary to put the italics on the discography page. --Z 23:02, 16 December 2007 (GMT)
Maybe I misunderstood, but ۞, you're the one who suggested putting it on the discography...
"maybe start from discography and see where to go from there"
But yeah, it's to make clear on bodies of text mainly. --Muserwiki 23:12, 16 December 2007 (GMT)
That's what I meant, work from the Discography pages in bodies of texts - sorry I wasn't clear. I know on wikipedia all albums are italic and so on, but we don't have to conform to wikipedia standards unless it's through necessity really. Just something I want to clarify though - do we use italics for 'releases' and quotation marks for songs... or is it italics for albums and quotation marks for songs and singles? ۞ 00:47, 17 December 2007 (GMT)

Preview

The album audio preview is of really bad quality and i think it should be removed or replaced. thoughts? --Wilfio 18:02, 21 December 2007 (GMT)

I could fix that. I have the right programs, the songs, and whatnot. Just give me some specifications (file type, total length, etc.) and I'll go for it. 7 01:14, 22 December 2007 (GMT)

By the way, is the OoS preview just a mash-up of the song previews? 7 01:44, 22 December 2007 (GMT)
