Marmozets

Marmozets are an English rock band from West Yorkshire, specifically from Bingley. The band was formed in 2007 and consists of two sets of siblings; Rebecca Macintyre (vocals), Sam Macintyre (guitar/vocals) and Josh Macintyre (drums), joined by Jake Bottomley (guitar) and Will Bottomley (bass). The band also had another guitarist, Joe Doherty, for a short period of time.

The two sets of siblings formed a band while in school in 2007 under the name The Marmozets, and they have soon gathered acclaim for their chaotic live shows despite their age of 18. In 2009, they released their first EP, Out Of My Control and shortly after, they removed the "The" out of their name and became Marmozets. In 2011, they released their first EP under the new name called Passive Aggressive, followed by Vexed in 2012.

In 2014 they released their fourth EP called Marmozets and in the same year, they released their debut album called The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets, with which they won the 2015 Kerrang! Award under the Best Album category.

In 2016, Rebecca Macintyre had to be hospitalised after being diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome. Because of that, the band had to delay work on the second album. After enduring several operations and returning to the band, it was revealed by Sam Macintyre in January of 2017 that they have completed their second album called Knowing What You Know Now, which was released in 2018. The first single from the album, Play , was released in August of 2017 and reached the top of the Kerrang! Rock Chart. The song was also used as one of the official themes of the NXT TakeOver: WarGames, a professional wrestling show and WWE Network event in the NXT TakeOver series.

The band supported Muse on all dates of the Psycho UK Tour.
