Pizzorno, also took over as Kasabian's lead song-writer after the departure of Christopher Karloff. Ian Matthews replaced Ash Hannis during the release of Empire, having recorded a few songs on their debut previously.

Sergio was born in Newton Abbot where Muse recorded the Newton Abbot Demo

They supported Muse at various concerts during the 2009 and 2010 Resistance Tours.

In an interview, Pizzorno said: "how are we gonna be as big as Muse?"

And during the Black Holes & Revelations Tour, Muse got drunk with Kasabian and Pizzorno tried to snog Wolstenholme, according to a 2008 interview.

During performance at Rock Werchter Festival 2015 during Munich Jam, Pizzorno went on stage and was breakdancing before a security guard caught him [1].
